Mochi's Creamtopus Catalogue - Day 1
I have yet to see one up close, but I spotted my first Creamtopus today! It was very cute, but hesitant, staying in the deeper waters, even when I held up a treat - I shall have try again tomorrow!
Mochi's Creamtoous Catalogue - Day 2
Today I managed to capture the attention of a Creamtopus by holding up a treat. It came closer this time but still remained out of reach, eyes focused on the food. I gently tossed the treat to it and watched as it inspected it before eating it. The Creamtopus looked back at me for a moment before diving back under the water and leaving. I shall try again tomorrow!
Mochi's Creamtopus Catalogue - Day 3
I finally convinced the Creamtopus to eat from my hand today! It was clearly nervous, and still pulled away as soon as it grabbed the treat in order to finish consuming it at a safe distance, but I am sure it won't be long before it feels comfortable with me.
Mochi's Creamtopus Catalogue - Day 4
Today was much the same as before, with the Creamtopus taking the food from my palm and moving away, but this time it wasn't quite as quick and stayed nearby for a little while after finishing. This is definitely a good sign.
Mochi's Creamtopus Catalogue - Day 5
Today was a great success! While it still didn't stay for long, the Creamtopus let me give it a quick pat on the head while it ate from my paw. I think we will be good friends.
