As winter comes to a close, visiting baobears return to their homes, perhaps with a rekindled desire to fulfill all their new wishes?

We are allowing Wishing Well Grants until February 3rd as well, for any last-minute submissions.
Unused wish tickets can be sold for beans through your inventory. The Wishing Well may return at a later date!

LUNAR NEW YEAR SNIBBLE SPECIAL

In the Botanic Gardens, several snibbles have been spotted slithering about...
From today until the end of February, there is a small (approx 10%) chance you will find a Snibble whenever you successfully harvest any plant. Snibble pet tickets are also permanently available at Baogonia's Garden Shop.

Snibbles are slithery serpents often seen either sleeping, sneaking, or snacking.
However, it seems there is a particular snibble that has been causing a bit of trouble for Cabbaoge...

"I swear, cousin, it was THIS big!"

Hidden somewhere on the baobears.com site is a snibble (or something that looks like it).
If you are able to find it, it may come home with you!

This is a scavenger hunt based event, available until the end of January.
It is not hidden in the "official" or "myo" masterlists.
It is not hidden on user profiles, or on any specific user's page. It is hidden onsite.
It MAY be hidden at the bottom of a page, descriptions, inside 'spoilers', 'see more', or other similar tabs.

For fairness, please do not publicly share, request, or offer the location of the "snibble".

Many years ago, a shooting star fell from the sky and into a giant lake. The star, unable to catch up to its friends in the world above, was left behind. Separated and alone, its cold heart slowly began to freeze over the lake.

And so, the very first winter came to be.

EVENT: FALL FORAGING - UPDATE!

Welcome to November, everyone!
Have you begun your end of year preperations yet?

Our 'Fall Foraging' event is still on going, with some updates, until end of month NOV 30. Notably, this month you can start collecting daily forage finds! You may open a forage find to get a random amount of beans. Alternatively, trade in the foraged finds for a potentially larger prize!

Mushrooms can be found almost anywhere!
Sometimes, this is welcome. Othertimes, not so much...

A new set of mushroom items & titles have been released! 

• Whenever you harvest a garden item, there is a low chance for a 'forage find' or 'mushroom spore' seeds to drop! This seed can be planted on any prepared plot (i.e. doesn't require a specific fertilizer).
  • For this month, the drop rate of mushroom spore seeds is 75%. After this month, it will drop down to a lower, unspecified percentage.
• You can also obtain a random mushroom and mushroom spore seed by completing the 'Mushroom Mania' prompt this month.

SITE CHANGES

• Site Item Changes:
  
  • Starting today, you'll only need one berry (rainberry) for any colour or marking changes. If you have purchased or used an enigberry within the past 30 days, you can submit a claim for a refund.
  • For any masterlist changes, you can use the 'Recipe Revamp Request' item. This includes switching 'main forms' (ex. seabao -> babybao) or updating masterlist art. Editing cropping issues, fixing or adding mislabelled traits, etc. won't require an item. This item can be purchased for 10 beans or 10 dumplings at either Rosebeary's Bistro or Bao's Dumpling House.

Gift Exchange Sign Ups

Hello! This year we are doing another round of gift exchanges!

Please fill in this form to join: https://forms.gle/JB6J55y6sCe71MYr6. Due to the nature of this activity, we will be allowing drawn entries only (either by yourself or commissioned). Allocations will be given out by December 5, if not earlier, and the final deadline for each piece will be DEC 20.

Please be aware allocations and follow ups will be sent via e-mail.
Pinch hitters will be allocated assignments on the 21st if someone drops out.

Anyone can join, even if you do not own a baobear! The minimum requirement for gifts is a coloured fullbody, but going above that is encouraged. Please read all information included carefully. If you can't make the deadline, let us know ASAP so we can have a pinch-hitter fill in – life happens, no hard feelings!
