Can you believe it's been half a decade since baobears was founded in October, 2019? Thank you so much for sticking around, whether you're a new, old, or returning player! It really means a lot to see that people are still interested!

GARDEN OF LOVE: GRAND OPENING

The Botanical Gardens is absolutely buzzing with excitement; or is that just the sound of busy bees? Either way, the conservatory is in full bloom, and it's all thanks to your hard work!

Happy April, everyone! Baogonia's 'Garden of Love' event has officially come to a close, with a final total of 230 bouquets donated to the Community Pool. Whoa, that's a lot! As a special thank-you, Baogonia has revealed the final stretch goal of her campaign:

An all access pass to the conservatory!

... and a letter! Wonder what's in it?

Users who did not participate can still access the Botanical Gardens by completing "The Baotanical Gardens" prompt questline under 'Special Quests'. If you have already unlocked the Gardens and complete this quest, you can get an extra 'botanical key' as a keepsake.

Gardening has been reset and is now available as a new 'daily'.
More features will be available at a later date.

BAOCORP GREENLIGHTS ACQUISITION OF ALL BAOBEARS IN MULTI-BEAN-LLION DEAL

WORLD OF BAOBEARS UNDER NEW LEADERSHIP?!?!

On April 1st, shareholders and associates of fortune-five firm BAOCORP, a future-first investment company, moved forward with their plans to acquire the baobears group with a majority stake of 88%.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose the exact value of the transaction.

"This is a good thing," spokesperson Miya Miyabau said in a statement released earlier today. "Like, I'm not doing this just for the money, you know. I'm doing this for the future of baobears. I'm doing this for us."

What does this mean for the future of baobears? The world of business is fraught with uncertainty, but new BAOCORP CEO CHARLES BEARWIN reassures us that 'all is well'. When asked what this new merger implies, he responded:

"This is a milestone achievement. We bring a lot to the table. This new merger will expand our range of sustainable services and impact long-term plans in a meaningful and positive way. It underscores our to ambition to drive positive change for all baobears big and small."

BAOCORP is aiming to leverage their majority share of dumplling stocks in order to induce a paradigm shift within the economy, potentially expanding their company up to ten hundred times within the next week.

When asked for future plans, CEO Bearwin had this to say:

"BAOCORP is committed to building a brighter future for all our employees. At BAOCORP, we're not just a company. We're a family. We're taking actionable steps to break down the silos for an effective take over. Source? Just trust me. I'm a professional. See? I even have a business card. Take a look."

Is this really the next step forward for baobears? Charles Bearwin has big dreams.

"There's a lot of moving parts but what we're doing is using a tried and tested method. Just take a look around and you can already see the sucessful forward-thinkers who've already adapted to this change in leadership. Business, bears, baos, baobears IS business. Business baos, that's the future. We work, we play, we EAT!"

"I tell you, this is a game changer. This is blue sky thinking. This is the future. This is why we're mandating that all baobears begin work under our company's employ effective immediately."

CEO Charles Bearwin has announced, as of April 1, 2024, all baobears are hereby under the employ of BAOCORP. All baobears must report to work and work hard for the benefit of BAOCORP and the future of BAOCORP.

There have been some issues with discord images, in that they are no longer showing. We reccommend you double check any coding to see if this has effeced you. If you see any official images that appear broken on-site that shouldn't be, please let us know!

Also, some have been asking about this dumpling divider by softsy. I've uploaded the image to the site, feel free to use it as decoration as you like (with credit where appropriate).

Hello! Just a quick notice of some event rebalances:

- Event prompt rewards have been adjusted
- Bouquets now give out 20-50 beans instead of 30-60
- You can trade-in your x1 fertilizer for x1 botanic seed until the end of February
- Alternatively, you can sell x1 fertilizer for 10 beans in your inventory
- Fertilizer has been removed from the shop

EVENT: Garden of Love

In Baotato Valley, the start of spring is heralded by a million blooming flowers. Here, nutrient rich soil allows for a wide range of flora to grow. This great abundance of flowers, in both number and variety, attracts locals and visitors alike, seeking to both admire and gift these blooms.

"And I'd like to bring that experience to New Bao City, flowerbud!" Baogonia says. "But I'll need a helping paw, if you'd be so kind to lend it."

Baogonia is planning an exhibition at the Botanical Gardens in New Bao City, but she can’t manage alone! Plant seeds, help them grow, gather flowers and reap what you sow at Baogonia's "Garden of Love".
