EVENT: The Wishing Well
Many years ago, a shooting star fell from the sky and into a giant lake. The star, unable to catch up to its friends in the world above, was left behind. Separated and alone, its cold heart slowly began to freeze over the lake.
And so, the very first winter came to be.
The local baobears, seeing this sad star, came over to offer it a paw... and a hearty cup of soup! The star, touched by their kindness, felt its heart begin to warm. Slowly, the icy lake began to thaw, and a newfound friendship was formed—thus heralding a new spring.
These days, baobears come from all over the land to visit this very lake. Legend has it, if you make an offering to the lake spirit, your deepest wish may be granted... Of course, it is best not to throw random things into the lake: that is why the local baobears have built a small wishing well!

- Make a wish using a Wish Ticket. Your wish will be added to the wish board below once accepted. You can get a Wish Ticket by:
- Complete "The Wishing Well" Prompt
- Purchase through Rosebeary's Bistro
- Everyone gets 1 free ticket by clicking here :)
- You may grant someone else's wish if you'd like. Granting another person's wish can grant rewards.
- Make a wish using a Wish Ticket. Your wish will be added to the wish board below once accepted. You can get a Wish Ticket by:
- To make a wish:
- You must fill in this form to tell us what wish you'd like to make
- Submit a claim with the Wish Ticket attached as an 'Add On'
- Wishing Well Entry Rules:
- Wishes must fit within the 150 character limit
- Wishes must be baobear related and follow baobears ToS
- No begging, guilt tripping, or asking others to grant your wishes
- You may request one of the following per wish:
- Art or writing of an existing baobear
- for art/writing of an existing baobear, you can request only ONE baobear at a time, i.e. no "any of my baobears"! Exception for 'prompt-like' requests, ex. "any baobear as a gingerbread cookie" or "my baobear and any other baobear wrapping presents".
- An existing item on baobears (ex. a baoberry, any winter treat, a peony)
- for existing items, you must be specific to either an item or category, ex. "i want a peony" or "i want any flower" is acceptable, but NOT "i want a lily or peony". similarly, "i want any pet that i am missing" will not be accepted.
- An item that does not yet exist on baobears (ex. I would like a 'mango' title to be created!)
- Art or writing of an existing baobear
- You may not request any of the following:
- Art or writing of non-official baobears or customs of baobears
- Real life money or items, vouchers, or equivalent
- Beans, Dumplings, or Awards (ex. Frogbert Liker award)
- Another person's baobear (ex. I want Bao the Baobear!)
- Anything that breaks baobears T.o.S.
Submitting a wish DOES NOT guarantee that it will be posted or granted.

Anyone can join, even if you do not own a baobear! The minimum requirement for gifts is a coloured fullbody, but going above that is encouraged. Please read all information included carefully. If you can't make the deadline, let us know ASAP so we can have a pinch-hitter fill in – life happens, no hard feelings!
[3] Grant A Wish
Once you make a wish, if it is accepted, it will be posted here! Wishes can be granted one of two ways: either by a moderator or by another player.
- Wishes granted by mods:
- A wish may be randomly granted by a moderator. This is completely random.
- Granting wishes as a player:
- If you want to grant someone else's wish, complete the Wishing Well Grants prompt.
- You can grant a wish ONCE, i.e. you cannot grant the same wish more than one time. For example, if you granted Rosebeary's wish for Veggie Soup, you cannot grant his wish again! However, you can grant Baomeo's wish for Veggie Soup, or you can grant Rosebeary's other wish for Fruit Salad.
- My wish was closed before I got the chance to submit the prompt! Feel free to submit it anyway, for the most part we'll honour those submissions.
