Happy October, everyone! Not only is it the season for spooks, but it is also our anniversary month!
Can you believe it's been half a decade since baobears was founded in October, 2019? Thank you so much for sticking around, whether you're a new, old, or returning player! It really means a lot to see that people are still interested!
I hope I can continue working on baobears, and I hope you can keep enjoying it, too :)
With that out of the way, I have prepared a special present to celebrate our anniversary together!

EVENT: FALL FORAGING
With winter just around the corner, many baobears begin their annual fall foraging preparations to stock up for the winter. Many go out into the forest, their gardens, or even their nearest convenience store in order to collect berries—a delicious treat loved by all!
However, it seems this year a mysterious berry has found its way in between all these batches of juicy-goodness... while shaped like the rare baoberry, this is much smaller in size, and it's said that those who consume it are magically transformed!
Of course, these are all rumours. But perhaps there is a bit of truth to it...?

- Berry Gardening: plant mixed seed and grow your own berry
- Fall Foraging: collect forage finds to open or trade in
- Baobaby Questline: unlock a baobaby form for your baobear
[2] BERRY GARDENING
Sometimes, baobears find mixed seeds in the wild, which are hard to identify and differentiate. The fun here is in the mystery—what will this seed grow into? Well, why don't we find out together?
- New Gardening Supplies:
- A new seed and fertilizer type is available for purchase this month at Baogonia's Boutique! The mixed seed takes 2 weeks to grow and will grant a random berry.
- Please be aware that after the event ends, the prize table will change. Berries will no longer be obtainable from the 'mixed seed' item, so please plan accordingly.

[2] FALL FORAGING
- Forage Find Daily Check-in:
- From November 1 - November 30, you can check in everyday for a forage find!
- This page will NOT be active until November 1!
- You may open a forage find to get a random amount of beans (or a surprise?).
- Alternatively, trade in the foraged finds for a potentially larger prize!

- New Foraging Prompt:
- Looking for a new friend? Complete a Fall Foraging for a chance to recieve a random Fruity Friend! If you'd like to get a head start collecting forage finds, this quest can be completed multiple times.
[3] Baobaby unlock quest
Before growing into their full size, baobears begin their journey as a baobaby. Being very small and delicate can be very inconvenient, but, for various reasons, baobears may want to revert into this form. Why? Perhaps, when you're small, delicious food lasts twice as long!
Growing up is easy, but growing smaller is harder. Changing form like this requires a baobear to tap into their fuzzy childhood memories, or to consume a special berry... which option will your baobear choose?
This event, we are releasing the 'baobaby' form! To unlock this form, you may either complete the questline below or purchase a baobaby charm from Rosebeary's Bistro (available until end of event). Unlocking this form will allow you to use it in prompts.
