It seems word has gotten out that I'm collecting star gems — after a performance one night, other baos tossed them up onto the stage for me! This wouldn't be that bad if they weren't hard like rock candy and if they didn't melt a little under the stage lights… oops.

After gathering up a lot of melted star gems, I've made a little melt-y bowl out of them to store more star gems. This would be amazing if only my colleagues didn't… accidentally eat them because they thought it was a gift to the theater. Something odd's happened twice in a row, huh…

I've found a solution!!! By dusting the star gems with a little bit of powdered sugar, they stay less melty for longer and can withstand stage lights! I'm such a genius… of course in the end if you leave them for too long they'll melt, but now I can decorate the stage with star gem strings! Ohoho~! I must collect more to make a whole constellation!

A bao who frequents the theatre has brought me a gift after my most recent performance… lots of baos have been bringing me star gems, but this bao brought a whole cake made with them. I can't possibly eat it all on my own so I've shared it with the crew — how generous, I am! Though I did make sure to pluck a couple of the extra gems off… they're covered in frosting but will still be a wonderful part of my collection!

Today I've decided to stake out a certain spot to gather a whole bunch of pink star gems… I got this intel from a fan so I had to do my best to make this as discrete as possible! I still ended up signing a couple show programs… but I also got several handfuls of pink star gems, so everything worked out!
