i followed it to the tide pool and guess what!! i spotted three more of them hanging out in there! two pink ones and one brown one.

so the pink strawberry creature is following me around the beach now. cool. guess i have a new friend! i'm naming it squishy.

squishy and i made our way closer to the shore and spotted two more little critters, both cream colored. that makes 8 so far!

we walked a little further along the shore and spotted a group of four! two chocolate, one vanilla, one strawberry...that's 12 now! a whole dozen :3

i let squishy crawl on top of my head as we continued counting more squishies! we spotted two more on the beach, by the way—one strawberry and one chocolate! oh man, now i'm starting to get hungry...
