Baobears are a species of small, palm-sized dumpling bears created with love and magic. Appearance-wise, baobears have big dumpling heads and round bear ears. They are round and chubby and very stretchy, like mochi.

"Baobears are magical creatures who can evolve into other forms, usually under very specific circumstances. Those baobears who call Bearmuda Bay their home often have a heightened affinity with the sea, and many find themselves changed seemingly out of nowhere. They will grow fins, flippers, and scales, characteristics that help them better explore the environment they so love (and, perhaps, to find new types of food!).

The 'seabao' is a unique kind of form some baobears can take! Legend says that those with a particular affinity to the sea are able to take on this form. In this form, the seabao is able to breathe underwater and traverse the ocean depths.

baobaby

Before growing into their full size, baobears begin their journey as a baobaby. Being very small and delicate can be very inconvenient, but, for various reasons, baobears may want to revert into this form. Why? Perhaps, when you're small, delicious food lasts twice as long!

Growing up is easy, but growing smaller is harder. Changing form like this requires a baobear to tap into their fuzzy childhood memories.
