"Cat Cafe"
Late last year my friends and I were trying to figure out a location to meet up! It had been a hot minute since we last saw each other - and all the usual locations just weren't hitting right :sadyeehaw here:
We stumbled upon the Cat Cafe during our search online for a place in the city - Mmrow mmrows and coffee?? It's the perfect combo!
Our booking was placed in the early afternoon which meant the cats were all taking cat naps, however, we were all warned of "Mr Fox", a cat with a sweet tooth and will steal our treats if we don't keep an eye on it.

The cafe has 13 cats, all rescues and very cute! The set of triplets were my favourite, Albus which was also lovingly called Tripod for the fact he only had three legs. Albus/Tripod was busy taking a nap with the other twin, Major Tom, but they both happily accepted some pats.
Ziggy Stardust, the final cat in the triplets, was very eager to get treats. Jumping onto people's backs or following someone's hand despite there being no treat :(
I'd like to happily note that Mr Fox during our visit was far too tired to be doing any crimes, our treats and drinks were unharmed! Unfortunately the treat that we all ended up getting, different flavored cheesecakes, weren't all that good. Mr Fox could steal them,, if it was safe for cats of course!
I think another sweet thing regarding this place is that they're paired up with a Cat Haven, often taking in kittens and adopting them out through the cafe to those who take interest once the lil guy is old enough.

"Sniiiiff"
During 2022 my best friend cat sat her Aunt's cat, a cream coloured cat named Tigger. This cat definitely lived up to what he was named after as very rarely did he not have the zoomies, bouncing from wall to wall, the sound of his tiny paws skidding across the carpet was almost constantly heard. Tigger was a good boy, despite his eagerness to present to everyone how he could get paw prints on the ceiling.

"The Gerbil."
I was introduced to this enormous rat early last year. It belongs to my partner's roommate, but I've stolen him secretly - Just don't tell them that. ''Roommate'' claims that the large beast is a gerbil, but clearly it is guinea pig - at least, I believe it is.

As it was originally called a gerbil, it's been what I've been referring to as his name as a stand in for his actual name which I've long forgot. This beast of a "gerbil" can inhale greens at a speed I've yet to see any other creature reach. I fear one day,,, he may even eat me.
