Pumpkin Spice Panic

She was just in time!

Bonnie threw open the doors to the New Bao City cafe - she made it at just the right moment to get a good spot in line! She couldn’t miss it!

Every fall, the cafe began to sell their famous pumpkin spice latte - and every day, it got sold out right away in the morning! No matter how hard the cafe tried to keep enough stock, it was just so popular that it always got snatched up just an hour into the cafe being open!

Bonnie had learned her lesson yesterday - she’d slept in, so she completely missed it. She was crushed when she asked for it and the barista had to tell her they were all out! She learned from her mistake - this time, she’d get to have the delicious treat she was aiming for!

“Hello, welcome to New Bao Cafe! Could I get your order?”

The barista didn’t even have to ask. Everyone else in line had ordered the exact same thing - Bonnie wasn’t going to be any different.

“One pumpkin spice, please!” She said, slamming her paws on the counter. “Please!”

The barista laughed quietly, but nodded. “Coming right up!”

When it was finished, Bonnie’s eyes went wide. It smelled so good! She took a deep breath, and…

…Well, maybe she should take the time to savor it. After all, she’d went through so much trouble to get it in the first place!

Just taking some good smells in, she walked out of the cafe, happy in taking her time enjoying this treat.
