baozel- i mean brezmeo- i mean LOVE TAKES EFFORT

Brezel proudly puffed out her chest, "The gift cart looks pretty good, doesn't it Baomeo- BAOMEO?!"

Baomeo's mission to spread love and joy was always a solo feat. It was a thankless and laborous job that the other baos didn't really think twice about. Maybe he was even starting to feel a little lonely as he noticed the seasons fly past him, his self-imposed duty calling out to him once more, but one thing was different this year: Brezel.

The sunny and cheery Bao bumbled into town and instantly caught the attention of everybao with her exuberant presence. And then one day, Baomeo found himself face to face with her bright yellow head. She was looking right at him, "Yo, Baomeo! Rosebeary's told me about you!"

Baomeo blinked. Rosebeary?

Brezel continued, "I have a business proposition for you, bun!"

And so here they were. Brezel's goal was to make her mark, but to do that she probably should settle her apprenticeship loans as well as probably figure out some other expenses and save up to invest in- well, it's a lot to think about, but money will be the first step to everything she thinks! So she stepped back from the cart to marvel in her (and Baomeo's) hard work. Wait'll the other baos see what they've cooked up this season! Brezel proudly puffed out her chest, "The gift cart looks pretty good, doesn't it Baomeo- BAOMEO?!"  

Baomeo is on his knees as she turns around, "Brezel!! Brezel!" he sounds emotional.

"WHOA THERE!" Her face heats up as her mind races, what is he doing?! Ignoring the fact that she is a little flattered, and that maybe if she wasn't so busy with apprenticeship, she would have explored this kind of thing more often, and that maybe she wouldn't be looking like a tomato if she was more used to this kind of attention-

"You're the only one for m-" "I SAID WHOAAAAA-" she can't handle this!

"-me as my baonding bites co-planner! It's all thanks to you that I've never been more excited for this.. event." His words trail off and his expression becomes more confused as Baomeo finally notices and processes Brezel's reaction. Her hands were up and partially blocking her face that was as red as a bumblebao. And her eyes were shaking as she rapidly looked back into his own. Oh.

It was a misunderstanding.

And it was at this very moment, that everything they knew about each other was flipped over and something new was uncovered.
