Lucibao took me out to dinner for my birthday a few nights ago and ordered a giant piece of garlic naan… he ate it all and left me not even a crumb. Luci, your stomach is so bottomless, couldn’t we have ordered a few more naans to share? At least someone walked out of there burping!

Aki’s first encounter with the unknown… an animol six baollion times bigger than him… The kitty, named Doudou, stared at the tiny bear looking thing, wondering how tasty it’d be. Poor Aki got spooked and hid behind the nearest tree… er, plant, but was still spotted by the kitty. Aki, time to work on your running skills!

2024 was truly the year of gluttony, as I also took Lis out to dinner one night. The spot was a local Chinese restaurant, and served a mean xiaolongbao. Lis was shocked to find out that the food we’d be eating was kind of her cousin, so she protested and ended up forcing us to free her cousins. Next time we’ll stick to noodles…
