memories in a flash

> the world is so big in my little eyes. i fell asleep in a suitcase and woke up to an ocean view. the sun peeked out behind the horizon, and I swear I could feel the seabreeze even though i was inside. i wish windows were like mirrors at times like these.  

> i went to a wedding that was full of flowers like the sun. i parked my body at the bubble table and blew good wishes to the happy couple while they ate and drank and danced with the crowd. days like these go by like a mountain stream, fast and memorable. 

> I found fish-shaped rocks that were saltier than any fish I'd ever eaten. apparently fossils show us the past, and this looked like a meal for the books. i wasn't allowed to touch any of them, but i heard geologist do sometimes lick rocks. do i have to become that to taste the meal of my forefathers?
