The soft chime of a bell greeted Yuzu and Sencha as they stepped into the charming bed & breakfast, its sign swaying gently in the crisp autumn breeze. The sign read, *"Heavenly Hearth: Rest and Relaxation,"* and true to its name, the place exuded warmth and serenity. Inside, soft candlelight flickered against rustic wooden walls, and the scent of baked apples and cinnamon hung in the air.

“Welcome, darlings!” Quiche, the angelic owner of the establishment, floated into view. Their light yellow fur shimmered, and the soft feathered wings on their back rustled as they moved. “I’m Quiche. Let me show you to your room—it’s my coziest suite, perfect for a couple!”

Sencha flushed slightly, avoiding Yuzu’s teasing grin, but Quiche’s warmth was undeniable. The suite was a dream: fluffy quilts, a crackling fireplace, and a basket of freshly baked pastries on the bedside table.

That evening, after settling in, Quiche invited them to the common room for a cooking demonstration. “Tonight, we’ll make celestial soufflés!” they announced, donning an apron embroidered with stars. Yuzu eagerly joined in, her enthusiasm contagious. Sencha, ever the observer, lent a quiet but thoughtful hand, carefully whisking the batter until it was perfect.

As the soufflés rose in the oven, Quiche sat with them by the fire. “This place is for finding peace and joy,” they said, smiling warmly. “And I can tell you two bring that out in each other.”

Yuzu glanced at Sencha, her heart glowing. Maybe Quiche was right.
