[Gift] Rain

Moomoo woke up with a loud sound and a sudden flash of light. It was their fourth day on this planet, and they didn’t know what they were dealing with. They were a bit scared, but figured this situation should be investigated!

After realizing the scary sound came from outside, Moomoo decided to check their windows for anything possibly dangerous. They realized something was different the moment they approached the windows, they were wet, and hundreds of droplets covered their surface. Moomoo shifted their focus to the outside and noticed where said droplets were coming from: the sky.

-What is this? - Moomoo talked to themself. It was not scary at all, they actually found the constant sound of the droplets soothing. They stood there watching this strange phenomenon for some time. After a while, the amount of droplets hitting the window weren’t as many, it all seemed to have calmed down. So, Moomoo had an idea.

They opened the window enough for their paw to reach the outside, and droplets fell onto it. The first one startled them a bit, but they quickly grew accustomed to the wet sensation the droplets landing on their paw caused.

Moomoo was curious still, wanting to investigate further. They walked down the stairs and opened the front door, stepping out slowly and feeling the droplets land on their fur. They loved the feeling, but eventually felt soaked. That didn’t stop them from jumping on puddles and catching droplets with their mouth, though, playing in what they would later learn is called “rain”.
