Happy moments

I went to a sunny park on the weekend to have a picnic with my friends. It was one of their birthdays, so we brought cake and other sweet and savory treats. The sky was clear even though it was supposed to rain, we said it was the sky’s birthday gift.

Taking a stroll in a garden at night sure has a different feel to it. I usually visit botanical gardens by day with friends so we can draw the flowers and trees we see there as practice. But this time it was different, we took in the scents and explored the garden at night.

We’ve been seeing each other for a month now. It was a sunny day, but it was way too hot to be out on the street, so we did the next best thing: go into a mall and get boba tea. It was their first time trying it and they loved it, i was happy i could share such a happy moment with them.
