The sun began to set into the horizon, hiding behind the enormous mountain hills. Leaving its warm remnants unto the sky, together with the grassy surroundings below.

"Ha.. Finally~.."

Bao Peep murmured to herself, letting out a soft sigh as she wiped the trickling sweat off her forehead. She had just finished herding her flock of sheep back to its barn.

Enjoying the evening breeze, she rested under the sturdy apple tree. Bao Peep checks her phone in her spare time. She stopped moving for a moment, blinking rapidly as her finger shook in disbelief.

"Ah!! T- the banquet is tomorrow!"

She had totally forgotten about it, her mind previously distracted by the wooly creatures. With quick steps, she stood up and hurriedly zoomed into her quaint cottage.

With a turn of a knob, she headed straight towards the kitchen area. Reaching to open the wooden cupboards and fridge for possible ingredients to cook up.

Collecting the sparse amounts of items scattered around the pantry, she places all of them on the counter. 

Sprawled across the countertop was a random list of ingredients.
Among it was a mixed canned fruit and berries, a small bottle of rum, partially opened butter, a lonely piece of broccoli, a leftover carton of milk and eggs, a frozen bag of bear-shaped nuggets, and some flour and sugar. Truly a chaotic and peculiar combination of items.

Perplexed, her brows furrowed lightly, trying her best to think of recipes in her panic state of mind. There was barely any time left, she needed to rack her brain and create a dish for other baobears to enjoy. But what?

!!!

Suddenly a wave of inspiration surged into her as she envisioned two plausible dishes out of the odd array of goods.

Focused on the task at hand, she washed her paws and began prepping.
Trying her best to take her mind off her beloved sheeplings. In no time, she managed to create her masterpieces, a heavenly aroma filled the entirety of her kitchen. She couldn't wait to bring them to the banquet tomorrow.

[The very next day..]

The sounds of birds chirping greeted the morning air. The Feast of Frosted Stars will be held very soon.

Bao Peep holding her excitement, could barely sleep last night. She carried her dishes, heading to the plaza's main entrance, a pair of sheep followed behind.

She scanned around the plaza with a smile on her face, appreciating the festive atmosphere. Colourful banners and decorative flags were decorated on the ceilings and posts of the semi-open space. Ornaments and candles beautifully adorned on the pastel-hued tablecloth. Not to mention the centerpiece of the plaza, a giant Christmas tree covered in bright lights, wrapped in garlands with hanging baubles.

Bundles of baobears have already started to arrive, bringing in their respective dishes and arranging them neatly onto the large tabletop. The lively atmosphere made the cold weather just a tad bit warmer.

Lil Bao Peep nervously joins in with the crowd, bringing along her most well-behaved sheep. Setting down the dishes she hurriedly prepared the day before.

Behold - a tower of buttery mashed potatoes topped with steaming gravy drizzled down like that of a volcano. Bear-shaped nuggets and broccoli were decorated in an attempt to create an artful display. Beside it was a colourful-looking fruit cake that she made, with soft cream and sweet cherries piled on top of it. It wasn't much, Bao Peep thought to herself but she hoped that it was good enough for the visitors to enjoy.

"Ehem, welcome everybaody to the annual Feast of Frosted Stars! This special occasion brings us together to celebrate, we are so glad that everybao here could join us for this holiday celebration! I can tell that the food here would be very tasty— ehem!  Don't forget to mingle with others and.. try tasting every dish!"

Everybao's head turned towards the source of the loud voice. It was none other than Bao the baobear, holding the microphone with a cheeky grin. As the host's speech ended, the crowd erupted into applause, filling the plaza with merry delight.

The crowd soon dispersed to mingle with one another and taste each other's dishes. Bao Peep's heart raced as she stared expectantly at the guests who sampled her dishes. To her content, it seemed like they enjoyed it, some were nodding in approval whilst some gave an approving smile.

Bao Peep felt much at ease with their positive responses. She had been feeling quite nervous about presenting her dishes with so many attendees, but now she felt that she could enjoy herself more and try other baobear's creations.

She was particularly impressed by the variety of cuisines and flavors that were available. As she sampled different delicacies, she went around the plaza greeting her fellow friends and meeting new baobears. The pair of sheep loved being in the spotlight with many of the attendees adoring the wooly animals.

Everybao was having the best time of their lives. The laughter and joy was contagious. As the day unfolded, meaningful memories were shared amongst them.
