sorrel's summer

i. in the summer, i spent a lot of time by the beach! i enjoyed the smell of the salty air and the deep blue of the gentle waves. it was nice to get some sun, but yeesh was it hot! i was relieved that the water was nice and cool.

ii. i enjoy cloud-watching, but sometimes a cloudless sky can be just as great! i sat and basked under this gorgeous sunset, purple and pinks painting the skyline. the moon, while not full, shone like a sparkling star. the night air was crisp and fresh, perfect for an evening walk under the cotton candy sky.

iii. i went hiking through the bush! how great are the karri trees? the undergrowth was green and blooming, i was thankful it had grown back after a bushfire has raged through. the sun dappled the ground so gently, don't you just love komorebi? being among nature is one of my favourite places.
