Flower Time

Last time on Bon Baoyage

Frankie and Bao take a trip to a new place and now they are going to learn it's name and what they will do; Once the bus stopped they got off together and they were now in a placed called Baotato Valley Town! Do they sell baotatos here? they hoped so as the snacks were nice but he wanted a more filling food in his belly now that breakfast was mostly gone and energized them but that's for later! right now they were going to explore the rolling hills and the green valley full of untamed nature! this rural looking place was brimming with newness that Frankie just had to touch and investigate together as they ran in circles around Bao who stopped him to say they can explore together.

With an energetic nod the little bao bear followed after his friend and travelled a bit away from the town, that's right they weren't even going to step in this first! they were going to the outskirts and such to explore as they found a nice patch of soft looking grass making them both lay down in it, Frankie started to roll and roll all over it to get the smell of fresh grass on his body. He laid on his stomach staring at the blades near him and saw a ladybug, wow that's amazing look at their little legs go moving all of them to pull the bug up as they took a leaf and got them to crawl on it so they can carry them around with them.

Frankie laid on his back with the leaf on his stomach and stared up at the sky, the clouds looked very big and fluffy, were they soft or were they just like the book he read at the Libeary where they are full of water so they would feel wet. Curious how something so soft looking would be wet like a puddle, Bao started to snooze in his spot so Frankie decided to wake him up later after he finished exploring a bit more on his own just so he doesn't tire out his friend. They took the leaf with him and showed the lady bug a different area as they could smell something sweet in the air, what was that? it made him curious.

They looked around curiously until he found the source, oh my it's a flower field! there was one so close to them and he didn't notice, the ladybug on the leaf flew away once they were in sight making them stare after the bug. It was bound to happen sooner or later he didn't mind but parting with friends is always a sad occasion but it will be happy once again as they sat down to stare at the swaying flowers, some budding some in bloom, it was all a pretty picture that Frankie didn't want to forget about this any time soon as he spent the next several minutes in silence admiring the view.

He wasn't sure how long he willed away the hours but he got up soon enough and went over to Bao and woke them up, they squeaked out in surprise and sat up, both now had to go to town as the touring didn't stop here! "Did you enjoy yourself?" Bao asked him, Frankie stared at the leaf he had with him, the ladybug long since gone from it but the memory of it fresh in his mind still as they nodded at the other's question "Perfect! lets go to Botato Valley Town and get to enjoying what it has to offer here" they said and they held paws on the way to town with Frankie's mind still on the field of flowers he had stared at for the past however much time he spent in the field.
