Road Trip, sort of

The city life was nothing how Frankie expected it to be like, they also didn't expect to adjust so well to it compared to his former home either but guess that's just how he rolls as they munched on their egg on toast, the oozing runny yellow yolk tasted so good especially mixing with the crunchy toasty bread. Frankie was in bao heaven! they finished their breakfast soon enough and cleaned up quick, he had plans today and they were, nothing. He actually had nothing planned but the image of a silly little bao named after said food came into mind, oh of course! he'll just ask Bao about something and be done with it!

Frankie made sure he didn't have any crumbs on him before heading out towards New Bao City to see his friend? he thinks of him as a friend at least, Bao was in his office doing the most important of paperwork you can tell because they were tapping the papers all together to make them neat and tidy when the calico bao entered the office and squeaked hello. They came to ask if there were peaceful places he can site see at making the other stand up from his desk "Why of course, it's a good thing you came I was going to come look for you after i finished my work" They told him to close his eyes and they'll lead them to the spot he was thinking of.

Bao took them by the paw and while Frankie's eyes were closed lead him to the surprise "Ok you can open your eyes now" well he knew they were outside from the sound and feel but once he opened his eyes he saw that they were actually at a bus stop! Oh goodness is he telling him to leave? that got a laugh out of Bao and told him that no they weren't asking such a thing, instead they were going traveling to that peaceful place they mentioned earlier, oh that made more sense as they paid for both their bus fairs probably guessing Bao didn't have the beans to back up the ride over which was ok he didn't mind at all since they're friends.

Frankie got on a seat in the middle section of the bus and got comfy in his seat while bao sat across from them, he seemed to have packed some snacks maybe he was going to eat some before they arrived, oops guess he did kind of drop in during breakfast time or was it brunch now? he wondered about this as the bus began to move and he watched as the scenery start to go from urban everyday life to more and more rural settings, while he watched the eventual change he pretended a little bao was running along side with him jumping on power lines and fences, making sure their little peets didn't touch the ground.

He had fun imagining this as he slowly drifted off to sleep, he dreamt about the running bao and was sprinting along with him, on all fours or sometimes on two peets. It changed with what was seen from the ride over, they continued to slumber until bao began to poke at him to wake up, oh the dream had to end sometime he knew that but it still felt sad to be woken up from it as they looked up at Bao "sorry you didn't look like you were breathing" they offered them a snack from his stash and even though he just had breakfast he ate anyway, what a gluttonous bao as they talked with Bao about where they were going, the ride to the new place ended what felt like a short ride, having fun just seemed to make things go by faster as they got off together "Ready for the next tour?" Frankie nodded ready to see where they would go now.
