Within the shadow cast by the moonlight
Was a pair of eyes that shone bright
Candlelight flickering as it taunts
For the mystery outside begins to haunt

Each footstep was filled with dread
Makes you hurry up to bed
Though you cannot help but wonder
Was it a baobear or another

Heart racing as your pulse beats
It is better not to ponder too deep
For what lingers beyond the great outdoor
As long as this little baobear is safe indoors
